The world's first luxury icebreaker cruise ship

Automation in OneCo is now in the process of handing over our 7th ship to PONANT together with Vard.
"Our delivery has involved designing and supplying all the ventilation and heating controls in the boats. At OneCo, we consider it an honour to be chosen to take part in such a groundbreaking concept/project as building the world's first luxury icebreaker cruise ship.
Designing a ship to cope with the extreme cold "in the ice" and still deliver world-class comfort has been challenging at times, but with our good experience from the first six ships we have already delivered to Ponant, it should be able to provide just as much comfort when travelling along the cold Nordic coast as when it takes a trip up the warm Amazon, which requires good management and control of heat cooling and not least humidity on the ship.

This hybrid electric icebreaker is the first PC2 Polar Class luxury cruise ship and is fuelled by Liquefied Natural Gas - cutting-edge technology that makes PONANT a pioneer in environmental protection.
