Challenging deliveries for OneCo Contracting

Diamond Offshore currently has two rigs on the Norwegian continental shelf, and a total of 34 rigs worldwide. Ocean Vanguard is owned and operated by Diamond Offshore Drilling (UK) Ltd. in Aberdeen. Ocean Vanguard has previously held SUT under the name West Vanguard, when it was owned and operated by Smedvig.

Oceaneering

The assignment for Oceaneering is proceeding as planned. For the SWRP project, we are building fixed structures as shown in the picture below.

SWRP stands for Subsea Well Response Project and is a project that several oil companies are collaborating on as a direct result of the Deepwater Horizon accident in the Gulf of Mexico.

- The delivery goes to Oceaneering's Remote Intervention Technology Deepwater Technical Solutions department. "What's special about this delivery is that the equipment must be able to withstand operational use for 3,000 metres," says Berge Edland, Manager Operations.
