Stakaldefossen power station

OneCo Vests AS, Energy and Automation, has entered into a contract with Andritz Hydro AS for the upgrade of Stakaldefossen power plant. The delivery comprises a complete electrical system, including high-voltage/low-voltage cable delivery. Andritz Hydro AS delivers control system Stakaldefossen power station is located in Jølster municipality in Sogn og Fjordane, and is owned and operated by Sunnfjord Energi AS.

Andritz Hydro AS delivers control systems

Stakaldefossen power station is located in Jølster municipality in Sogn og Fjordane, and is owned and operated by Sunnfjord Energi AS. The power station is a river power station and utilises a 40-metre drop in the river Jølstra. The power station started production in 1954.
The power station consists of 2 Francis units of 4.3MW and 6.7MW respectively.
The project start for OneCo is 20 January 2014 and the units will be ready for testing on 11 April 2014.
