Monitor your power consumption with Wattguard
Wattguard is an electrical optimisation device that saves energy on fluorescent lighting systems and systems consisting of compact fluorescent lamps and metal halide lamps. The efficiency of the light source is increased, so that more energy goes to light and less to heat loss. The savings are normally between 30 - 45%.

The savings are normally between 30 - 45%. Wattguard also helps to reduce CO2 emissions, which has a positive impact on the company's environmental accounts.
OneCo and WattGuard AB in Sweden have entered into a reseller agreement that makes OneCo the exclusive reseller of the product for the Norwegian market.
Wattguard is made up of passive patented modulators, one for each phase, and adapted to the load to be supplied.
Wattguard is typically installed and protected by making room for a new customised circuit breaker in the main distribution. From there, a new riser cable is laid to the optimisation unit and from there back to the main distribution where the lighting circuits are connected.
This is the only intervention made in the existing installation. A standard WattGuard installation is done in 1-2 days, and energy and environmental savings start from day 1, as this is a rentable product.
Wattguard has extensive experience from over 300 installations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Portugal.
Wattguard has already been installed for several satisfied customers in Central Norway, and the roll-out to more OneCo customers in Norway has already started.
"Anyone with a fluorescent lighting system of a certain size that is lit for many hours every day, many days a year, has a potential with WattGuard. We prepare savings calculations that show the potential for savings, often after an inspection, or based on information provided by e-mail or telephone," says Knut Ole Laksøyen, Sales Manager at OneCo Region Central/North.
"The biggest challenge is actually that the customer thinks it's too good to be true in many cases. But the customer doesn't sign the delivery approval until the calculated savings have been documented, so we minimise all risk for the customer. The only thing you risk as a customer is saving money and the environment," concludes Laksøyen enthusiastically.
