The contract covers the delivery of operational control for the expansion of the Langevatn water treatment plant in Gjesdal Municipality in Rogaland. OneCo has previously won the contract for the HVAC control system for the project. And has now, in addition, won the programming assignment for the process plant itself.
The assignment starts immediately and will run until autumn 2018.
The SCADA system supplied is S2 from Frontmatec and is a continuation of the existing system.
OneCo has a long and good relationship with IVAR IKS, which is now being further strengthened with new and important projects. Gurusoft web reporting with an invoicing module has also been delivered previously.
The project is a natural addition to the series of projects that the Automation and Energy department has in its order book. It is thus a recognition of expertise and quality over time.
The Langevatn water treatment plant is being expanded at a cost of NOK 1.1 billion and will be completed in 2018.
Increased capacity requirements due to a growing population, the desire to be able to remove colour, odour and flavour from the water, and the desire for stronger/more hygienic barriers are the background to the major expansion.
