OneCo wins contract for new Deichmanske Main Library

OneCo Elektro AS has secured a contract with Kultur og Idrettsbygg Oslo KF for the electrical and telecoms part of the construction of the new Deichmanske main library in Bjørvika in Oslo. This is one of a number of contracts that have been awarded to the OneCo Group recently.

Kultur og Idrettsbygg Oslo KF has chosen OneCo as its partner on the basis of price, quality and personnel. The new Deichmanske Main Library is a signal building located right next to the opera in Bjørvika, and the fact that OneCo brings in a solid team with recent and similar experience from the major T2 terminal development at Gardermoen was probably decisive for the contract.

A group with a tailwind
OneCo Elektro AS is part of the OneCo Group, which specialises in automation, electrical power and electrical installation in construction, renewable energy, infrastructure and industry. OneCo has its own workshops with considerable expertise in design, project management and implementation of complex solutions, and is a major player in the installation of new smart digital electricity meters (AMS). With a budgeted turnover for 2016 of close to one billion euros, OneCo is sailing in a tailwind these days and seems to have struck a good balance between price, quality and efficiency. Major framework contracts are being signed in both Kristiansand in the south and Bergen in the west, and the company is experiencing a very good influx of experienced personnel who want to join the team these days. This applies to the head office in Kristiansand as well as the regional offices in Oslo, Stavanger and Bergen.

A good prescription for delivering well
