OneCo awarded new framework agreement with the Norwegian Defence

On 19 September 2019, OneCo was one of several suppliers to be awarded a framework agreement for maintenance services on the Navy's vessels.

The framework agreement is non-exclusive but has an indicated total contract value of NOK 750 million over a seven-year period. Assignments are awarded both as a function of internal ranking of the suppliers for assignments below a certain value and competition between all suppliers above this value.

"OneCo is very pleased to be chosen as a supplier to the Norwegian Armed Forces in this contract, which comes in addition to OneCo's exclusive contract with the Norwegian Armed Forces related to maintenance of the frigates. The sum of both these contracts will provide both synergies and cost-effective project implementation for both the Norwegian Armed Forces and OneCo," says Aage Oscar Langeland, CEO of OneCo Safe Yards AS. The award also significantly strengthens OneCo's platform as a supplier to the Norwegian Defence, he adds. The contract award has a waiting period until 30 September 2019 before signing can take place.
