OneCo Services at Ormen Lange

Statoil will build a new 480 kilometre pipeline from the Aasta Hansteen field to Ormen Lange, Aukra.
The Nyhamna Extension project will require the installation of an additional export compressor, two booster compressors, three additional metering stations and extensive construction work with roads and a new compressor building.

The total weight of new equipment to be installed, including bulk materials, is approximately 15,000 tonnes. A / S Norske Shell has planned for 3 shutdowns, one per year in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

In order to reduce any hot work while the plant is in operation, the project aims to modularise/prefabricate as many of the installation objects as possible.

"Oneco Services carries out the electrical installation at the plant for ABB, and is currently engaged with about 30 people, divided into project management, foremen and fitters. Everyone working on the project is on a 14-21 rotation.
