OneCo delivers to new Govddsåga Power Station

Together with Andritz Hydro AS, OneCo Vests AS has won a contract for electrical and mechanical work in connection with the construction of the Govddesåga power plant. The power plant is located in Beiarn municipality in Nordland county. The power plant consists of 3 vertical Francis turbines and will have a total installed capacity of approx.

Together with Andritz Hydro AS, OneCo Vests AS has won a contract for electrical and mechanical work in connection with the construction of the Govddesåga power plant.

The power plant is located in Beiarn municipality in Nordland county. The power plant consists of 3 vertical Francis turbines and will have a total installed capacity of approx. 31MVA. Annual power production is estimated to be approximately 58GWh with a winter capacity of almost 15%. The station itself is located in the mountains with outdoor facilities for 132kV and 22kV facilities as well as a transformer.

Govddesåga has already been regulated and transferred to Arstaddalsdammen in connection with the construction of Sundsfjord power station in the 1960s. The new project will have a head of about 220 metres and requires an intake tunnel of about 2 km.

The development is a joint project between SKS Produksjon AS (55.9 %), Statskog Energi AS (34 %) and Clemens Kraft KS (10.1 %).

A main contract has been signed between Andritz Hydro AS and Govvdesåga Kraftverk AS. Andritz Hydro is the supplier of turbines and generators. OneCo's delivery includes 132kV plant, 22kV outdoor plant, 40MVA main transformer, 11kV plant in station, control panels, auxiliary plant and HS/LS cables and installation and commissioning.

The project will be handed over on 1 September 2016.
