New 36kV plant for Elkem for Siemens
OneCo Sør AS is currently installing a complete 36kV gas-insulated switchgear system at the Elkem substation in Kristiansand. Siemens is supplying the system together with associated control systems. OneCo will be responsible for all installation of the switchgear, as well as all reconnections to the existing cable system. Project manager Finn Terje Verås reports good progress on the system, where several kilometres of high-voltage cable have already been laid.
