Hafslund Nett signs AMS contract with OneCo region East

On 22 April, OneCo signed a contract with Hafslund Nett AS for the installation of 36,000 transformer-connected AMS meters.

On 22 April, OneCo signed a contract with Hafslund Nett AS for the installation of 36,000 transformer-connected AMS meters. Planning of the roll-out will start in the autumn of 2015, with the actual roll-out starting at the beginning of 2017. The actual installation is estimated to take 18 months.

"We are very pleased to be chosen as installer for Hafslund Nett in Oslo, Akershus and Østfold. We look forward to embarking on the task. OneCo has previous experience of installing transformer-connected meters, and the project in Hafslund's network area therefore suits us well," says Bjørn Vagle, AMS Marketing Manager at OneCo AS.

OneCo Region East will be responsible for implementing the contract with Hafslund Nett.

Regional Director Bård A. Nielsen is also very satisfied with the delivery to Hafslund Nett.

"At OneCo, we have had a clear plan to be active in the market for the rollout of AMS meters" and feel that we have succeeded in our efforts. The Group now has contracts in several major grid areas. In Region East, we are now in full swing with a project for Stange Energi, have around 30,000 meters for Eidsiva, 10,000 meters in Røyken and delivery of booking for Alfa Installasjon and VOKKS. The contract with Hafslund Nett therefore fits well into our portfolio and will create good synergies between the projects," says Bård A. Nielsen.
