In-demand AMS enclosure from OneCo

OneCo Vests has now delivered more than 5,000 AMS concentrator cabinets to Norwegian grid companies.

The concentrator cabinets are used to install concentrators (masters) for data collection in connection with the roll-out of AMS meters. In addition, the cabinet is adapted for the installation of equipment that enables monitoring and data collection that provides a basis for analysis and new information about the state of the distribution network ("Grid Utility"). The cabinets are supplied in seawater-resistant aluminium and adapted to the customer's wishes.

The cabinets are manufactured in-house and adapted for installation in substations or in the low-voltage grid (on poles or cable cabinets) and are instrumented according to customer specifications.

OneCo has contracted approximately 10,000 "net-benefit" installations, of which approximately 6,000 have been completed. Through these projects, OneCo has acquired unique experience in:

• High volume deployment (project management, logistics, efficiency, safety and quality)
• Handling of large amounts of outages in the 22 kV grid (15-20 outages per day over 2 years)
• Installation solutions for all types of substations.

Through dialogue with the customer, OneCo wants to share this knowledge so that the customer can choose:

• Components for high quality and easy installation
• Assembly solutions that are easy to operate
• Organising the roll-out in an efficient and secure way.
