Norway's main airport - Gardermoen - is currently undergoing a large-scale expansion. The terminal is being expanded by 117,000 square metres, including a new pier, 21 aircraft stands and a new baggage facility.
OneCo has a major electrical contract involving 52,100 m2 in a new terminal - Service Building West and remodelling of 24,930 m2 in an existing terminal - Service Building East. Construction started in 2011 - with completion in spring 2017.
"We are proud to be a solid supplier of electrical services at OSL. This is a major project that will run for many years. After the expansion is completed, the airport will be able to handle 28 million passengers," says Knut Andersen, project manager at OneCo.
Among other things, OneCo will deliver:
Approximately 27,000 metres of cable bridges
Approx. 1900 metres of 110mm pipe
Approx. 850 metres of conductor rails
Approx. 2900 KNX components
All quantities are adjustable
This is by far OneCo's largest single electrical delivery in Eastern Norway. The company has therefore established a skilled team of employees at Gardermoen.
The resources, which are now gathered in OneCo Elektro AS, have become well known at the plant.
"The team we have at Gardermoen is our success factor. There is a great deal of commitment to the project - and to ensuring that deliveries are made on time and to the right quality," says Bård A. Nielsen, CEO of OneCo Elektro.
