Digitalisation simplifies

The new wastewater treatment plant in Haugaland Business Park has been opened.

Gismarvik wastewater treatment plant in Tysvær municipality was opened yesterday by the mayor on a mobile on loan from Svein Erik of OneCo. Johnny Wannberg, project manager at Tysvær Municipality, says there is a lot of technology in the new plant.

- "Everything here can be controlled by mobile phone, so in theory we can sit in a café and run the entire facility," laughs the project manager.

OneCo Vests has delivered operational control and automation work. Sigbjørn Vadla Nilsen has been the project manager.
