Replace 1.1 million AMS meters
OneCo is now well underway with the replacement of approximately 1.1 million AMS electricity meters in the Norwegian market. This represents almost 50% of the total number of meters to be replaced.
OneCo is now well underway with the replacement of approximately 1.1 million AMS electricity meters in the Norwegian market. This represents almost 50% of the total number of meters to be replaced.
As the picture below shows, OneCo is changing meters from Lindesnes in the south to Hammerfest in the north. This has given the company unique experience in rolling out large installation projects in different geographies and on different digital platforms.
The roll-out is well on track and on schedule. In two of the largest deliveries, Nettalliansen and Agder Energi Nett, more than half of the meters have been installed, and the delivery to Lyse is also now in full production. Meters are now being installed in Nord-Jæren and Stavanger city centre.
During 2018, OneCo will have booked appointments with more than one million customers, handled logistics and changed meters. Through these projects, OneCo is helping to digitise Norway. At the same time, unique expertise is being built up that will also be used in AMS projects outside Norway's borders.
